  1. Ayurveda treatment names are in Sanskrit, and sometimes the photos and the description don’t tell the full story. Therefore, every first treatment session comes with a free 15–20 minute consultation before we start. This is where we explain the treatment and ensure that it’s the right fit for your health challenges or goals. During your consult, if needed, we might recommend more suitable treatment for you. Please note our recommendation of a particular treatment is based only on what information you share with us. Most of the time, we can change it on the day, but occasionally we may need to rebook for another time. Please allow this extra time in your schedule.

  2. All treatments are provided by a male practitioner who is highly skilled, experienced and deeply respectful of your care.

  3. Treatment scope and duration
    The listed treatment duration are a guide — often treatments go over, rarely they finish a bit earlier. Everyone’s healing journey is different.

    As part of the consent process, we always ask if there are areas you’d prefer not to have included in your session. This especially applies to whole-body related treatments. Your comfort and boundaries are our priority and are fully respected. If significant areas of the planned treatment are excluded, the session may naturally be shorter and we’re unable to refund any portion of the booked time in that case. We’re happy to redirect focus to other consented areas, if you wish, though this doesn’t always mean the full original duration will be used. Our intention is always to honour your preferences while working within the standard structure of the treatment you’ve chosen.

  4. For your safety, we may need to refuse a treatment if:

    • it’s not suitable for your health or is contraindicated

    • preparation steps haven’t been followed, for treatments where preparation is essential

    • it exceeds safe load limit of the treatment equipment- approx.

      115 kg for traditional table for oil-based treatments

  5. We want to ensure that you leave feeling cared for, respected, and happy with your massage and relaxing experiences. If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied, please tell us. We’ll do everything we can to make it right, whether that’s adjusting your treatment, offering an alternative, or providing a refund*. Your comfort and happiness are at the heart of what we do.

    *If you are not satisfied with the treatment, just let us know during or straight after your session. We will offer you a 50% refund on the spot or an alternate treatment free of cost on another day- mutually decided.

  6. For some therapies, we may check in with you by a text or call a day after.

  7. In regard to healing therapies, some people come to Ayurveda after trying several modalities or conventional medicine and hope for an immediate result. While meaningful shifts can occur even after one session, Ayurveda is not a quick fix — particularly for concerns that have developed over months or years.

    For such concerns, to gain more tangible, lasting outcomes, we usually recommend a specific course of treatments. One session may begin the healing process; consistency is what builds and stabilises it. Ayurveda works best as a shared responsibility between practitioner and client.

  8. No two bodies — or healing journeys — are the same.
    Results vary from person to person, and we never guarantee cure or specific results. What we do offer is thoughtful, individualised care that builds up positive shifts and, a clear pathway forward — with your health, safety and long-term wellbeing at the centre.

    That awkward conversation

  9. Until June 2025, we kept our booking policy very flexible and offered full refunds even for last-minute cancellations, in the spirit of Ayurveda’s understanding and goodwill. However, recently a small number of repeated last-minute reschedules have made this difficult to sustain. As a small business, unused appointment times affect both us and other clients who could have benefited from that space.

    As many Ayurvedic treatments also require preparation in advance, our booking system does not accept new appointments within 24 hours. This means a late cancellation often leaves the time unused.

    For these reasons, we kindly ask that any cancellations or reschedules are made at least 48 hours before your appointment. You can easily do this yourself through the online booking system.

  10. We always send you a reminder 24 hr prior. Considering all above, from June 2025, we’ve updated our refund policy as below to keep things fair for everyone.

    Reschedule or cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice : Full refund — no questions asked.

    Rescheduling within 24 hours of appointment: A $50 rescheduling fee applies. Please call or text 0410002345 to reschedule.

    Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment or no show: 50% of the treatment cost is charged as a cancellation fee. If you have paid full price when booking, we will refund you the balance.

    Rescheduling from our end: In case we have to reschedule you from our side to another day, we offer you $50 discount for therapies valued more than $200 and $25 for therapies valued at or under $200.
    Cancelling from our end: In a rare event, if we have to cancel your treatment for the reasons mentioned in point 4, we will refund you the paid amount.

    Please note- As explained above, as we can not fill in rescheduled or cancelled spots within 24 hrs, this refund policy applies even if you reschedule or cancel due to any reason including but not limited to- forgetting appointment, car troubles, called at work, double booked myself etc.
    However, if a last minute genuine medical or other emergency arises (with proof), we’ll sure help reschedule or cancel with full refund.

  11. If another time becomes available on the day of your appointment, we may get in touch with you to know if you wish to change to that time.

  12. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that the maximum liability of Ayusha or its directors to you for all claims of any nature in total, arising under or in connection with the therapy sought, is limited to the total amount paid by you to us for the therapy / massage appointment.
