Why Ayusha?

  • More than one way to re-balance – providing a wide range of massages and therapies because emotions and symptoms show up differently for everyone.

  • Natural, time-tested, personalised – therapies rooted in nature and ancient wisdom, fine-tuned for your life and your body. Not just any massage.

  • Spacious, unhurried care – a complimentary 15 minute health consult and intention-focused sessions that move at your body’s pace, not the clock’s.

  • We listen first – thoughtful, attentive care that gives your system space to rest, release and reset.

  • Calm, trusted spaces – Newcastle, Bondi and Lorn, trusted by thousands seeking stillness, renewal and real results.

Booking FAQs

  • If you already know what you want (for example a Abhyanga or Shiro-Dhara or Manual Lymphatic Drainage), book that and we’ll fpersonalise it on the day.

If you’re not sure, just choose the session that feels closest, one that you feel drawn to. Our therapy descriptions match closely to the nuances of the symptoms experienced. And we’ll confirm or adjust the selected therapy at your pre-treatment consult.

Or start with a free Discovery Call and I’ll guide you.

  • Your 60, 90 or 120 minutes treatment time refers mostly to your time on the table.
All of the following is extra, and not charged separately:

    • A complimentary 15–20 minute health consult at your first visit

    • We take time to explain the therapy, answer your questions and get your clear consent, so you feel safe and can relax into the therapy to enhance its efficacy.

    • Brief integration and aftercare guidance, so you know how to support your body at home and deepen the effects of your session

    • Some complimentary add-ons like steam therapy or facial massage with select treatments.

You’re never rushed on or off the table.

The pricing also reflects advanced training in Ayurveda and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and the depth of one-on-one care you receive – you’re not paying for a quick fix, but for spacious, intentionally thoughtful support.

  • Ayusha is a premium, boutique healing experience rather- than a standard massage – and that difference clearly shows in real clients’ stories.

Here is the little infographic that sums it all.

Each session blends Ayurvedic and lymphatic (as applicable) techniques with nervous-system and emotional support, so we’re working on muscles, fascia, hormones and your “inner weather” together – especially for stress, burnout, women’s health (endo, menopause, cycles), gut issues and post-surgical care. It’s slow, intentional work designed for deeper, longer-lasting change, not a 60-minute quick-fix.

Treatments are also delivered by a practitioner who lives an Ayurvedic lifestyle – walking the talk in daily routines, food and self-care – so what you receive on the table is grounded in real, lived practice rather than textbook theory, and you’re never rushed through like a conveyor-belt rub-n-go massage.

Upon completing the booking, you will get an email outlining the preparation and links to detail therapy information, so you would know what to expect.

  • In most cases, yes. Ayurvedic and lymphatic therapies are gentle and non-invasive, and are designed to sit alongside your usual medical care, not replace it.

You never have to stop seeing your GP or specialist to benefit from this work – in fact, I encourage you to stay in close contact with them, and with your consent I’m happy to work in a complementary way (especially for endometriosis, menopause, fertility work, chronic pain and post-surgical recovery).

There are some contraindications which we check before commencement. These are times we may need to modify or delay treatment and work within safe parameters. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to book a free Discovery Call or bring any medical reports/doctor advice to your appointment so we can make a clear, safe plan together.

  • It depends on what you’re coming in for and how long it’s been going on. As each of us is unique, so are the results. As a guide,

    • For a one-off reset (stress, exhaustion, feeling “off”), many people feel a clear shift after one session, then come back as needed.

    • Many book for a ongoing self-care like monthly Abhyanga or Rasa-Dhara or mix-n-match monthly therapies.

    • For longer-term patterns (hormones, gut, burnout, endo, menopause, emotional patterns), we form a treatment plan. A short series – for example 2–6 sessions – usually gives your system a chance to really change.

    • For post-surgical work, sessions closer together at first often work best, then we space them out; we provide a treatment plan.

We’ll talk this through at your first appointment and make a plan that fits your body, your life and your budget – there’s no lock-in or pressure.

  • Life happens. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please do so as early as you can, so someone else on the waitlist can use the spot.

The current cancellation window and our friendly refund policy is mentioned in Terms of Service. If something unexpected comes up and you’re unsure what to do, just call or message – we’ll work it out with as much kindness and clarity as possible.
